Limited options for evening entertainment could be improved!!! The presence of smokers everywhere made it uncomfortable for non-smokers!!! Room service menu lacked variety, which would enhance late night dining!!!

The service was top-notch, with exceptional attention from staff like Oscar, who personalized our cocktail experience! The beach was stunning for snorkeling, with plenty of vibrant marine life.

The breakfast seating was chaotic and often cluttered, making it hard to find a clean table. The air conditioning in our room had its moments, leaving us a bit uncomfortable at nights.

Had a nice time enjoying the beach! The staff was super friendly, especially the bar crew—they kept the drinks flowing. The poolside snack bar offered some tasty bites, but the breakfast options were way too repetitive. I found myself bored eating the same thing every day. Also, it could get really crowded at peak times.

This resort is a fantastic spot for sunbathing, especially with its private beach and activities like kayaks and snorkeling tours. Our teens loved chilling by the beach and also enjoyed the activities set up by the kids' club. It was a relaxing escape!

It was just a solid selection for an overnight stopping in Akumal with good price-value balance. The staff were super friendly and helped me quickly with a lost item I left at the bar. Remember to check out the outdoor yoga classes for some relaxing moments by the beach.

Akumal Bay Beach & Wellness Resort has some true highlights that made my stay fantastic. The snorkeling right off the beach amazed me. I saw turtles, rays, and vibrant fish just steps from shore. The attentive service throughout the resort really impressed me. Check-in was quick thanks to Mario, and front desk staff like Zaisha and Joana were always welcoming. I particularly enjoyed the food at the Lima restaurant, where the sushi was standout and the service was efficient. Breakfast came with a beautiful beachfront view, a perfect way to start the day. However, there are sometimes complaints about the availability of beach chairs, though I found them easily each morning. The resort is also battling seaweed issues, which the staff works hard to manage daily. While I had a great time participating in daily yoga and enjoying paddleboarding sessions with enthusiastic instructors, I did notice the gym could get a bit crowded during peak hours. Overall, I left with wonderful memories, thanks to the beautiful surroundings and dedicated staff.

This place suits me perfectly! I love the private beach, fitness centre, and 24-hour reception. The staff were amazing. They helped me find my lost bracelet during my first visit. I recommend reserving your cabana early! I’m coming back for a trip.
